If you're looking for an affordable and unique spot to spend some time in Nashville, Updown is your spot. The theming is impeccable, the games and drinks are reasonably priced, and there are so many machines to choose from. You can even grab pizza from the counter downstairs. They always have great promos on tokens, and their holiday celebrations are super fun.

Great variety of arcade games to play. Plenty of multi-player games to share times with friends. Good tap beer selections and TVs for sports. Def makes me wish I lived a lot closer. I also loved that instead of having to buy a swipe card to play, you simply do tokens at a $.25 ea. Much more transparent in how much you're spending, plus when they are doing 2-for-1 tokens...

I'm a big fan of the up-down! I think it's a fun place to bring friends when you're in the area, especially on Sundays as they have a deal where you can get 6 drinks (beers/seltzers) and a pound of tokens for $30. This is great for 2 or 3 people to split or even up to 6 if you're just stopping in. The game selection is pretty good and they also have Nintendo games (N64 maybe?) that you can play for free.

Big fan of Up-Down and bringing arcades to life. This bar is a great change of pace and offers fun throwback games at the same time. Always friendly service, and always a good time. Cool spot!

This is easily my favorite place that I've ever played arcade games at! Not only do they have an amazing selection of some of my favorite games, but it's so cheap to play, usually 1 quarter per game. Plus they have good drinks, and really good pizza. We visited from out of town, and next time I visit Nashville we are definitely coming here again. I was here for one week and had so much fun that I ended up coming here twice!

If you're in town on a Sunday and want to chill and enjoy a beer play some games. This is a place to come to you.

This place is fantastic. It was fun as we had some time to kill before we had to catch a plane. The games are only .25 and they have lots of pinball, arcade and hoop games. On Sundays, I think they have a special of $30 for beers and a pound of tokens. If we had more time, we would probably do it. The bathrooms were clean which I appreciate. The upstairs is a bar and outside seating. They sell pizza by the slice, although we didn't try any so I can't comment on the food. Fun place to hang out and relive some childhood memories.

One of my favorite spots in East ! Their bar menu is HUGE, the pizza is great and there's tons of games. Check their website for their happy hour schedule. They have a lot of times where you can get 2 for 1 tokens for games which is a great deal. Also, don't forget to check out the second floor for more chill vibes and photo ops.

Alternative, fun space. The pizza slices are huge and more than filling while still tasting delicious. Great variety of games and drinks. It's an easy place to be comfortable, enjoy friends, and have a couple drinks. It's still fun even if you don't drink, which I love. The games are also cheap- most being only a quarter. The staff is attentive and quick to answer questions/help when needed. With that said, the customer service is not particularly unique or special. The vibe and crowd is what really makes this place shine.

The best $2 slice of pizza after a great concert at Basement East!! Service was prompt and they were all super friendly. The pizza was fresh and full of so much flavor. The atmosphere was really chill and if you're a gamer this is a spot for you.
